The Career Center of the University of Economics in Bratislava (CC EUBA) is a mediation and counseling center in the field of applying EUBA graduates in practice. It is a comprehensive workplace taking into account the needs of students, graduates and clients of the university. Its mission is to help students prepare for their entry into the labor market during their studies and to support their relationship with the university. It creates a link between academic ground and employers for its students, thus unifying and facilitating their communication. It mediates job offers, part-time jobs, internships, competitions, programs up to stays and studies abroad.
Main goals
One of the main goals of CC EUBA is to build partnerships with companies that are interested in its services and cooperation. It is a contact point where companies can turn with their offers and requirements. It offers comprehensive services for companies in search of potential employees. As part of its services, it can select from registered candidates those who meet the basic criteria of companies. It also provides an opportunity to address students who have completed study stays abroad and are very good at language skills. Students of our university are in demand on the labor market and successful, as evidenced by their 94% employment.
The importance for companies lies in the use of a wide range of services, partnerships and cooperation with the university. CC EUBA actively participates in their promotion and presentation in the university environment in the form of the CC EUBA website, social network, TV screens, information boards, advertising media, promotional activities, lectures and workshops. It provides a space for experts to speak from practice in lectures, the possibility of entering the topics of diploma theses, leadership and sponsorship.
He actively cooperates with individual faculties of the university. In cooperation with the Student Parliament, it organizes various educational, cultural, social and charitable activities. It enables companies to build the name of the best employer on the labor market already during the studies of future graduates.
Job fairs
Twice a year, CC EUBA organizes the Alumni Day in the summer semester and the two-day Career Journey in the winter semester. It is a suitable opportunity for participating companies to choose graduates and students from 7 faculties with different economic orientations for different job positions. The fairs are a place with an exceptional concentration of quality contacts based on a personal meeting and a real presentation - in a short time and under one roof. They represent the potential as one of the most effective marketing tools for obtaining suitable candidates for participating companies.
Our university is one of the universities with the highest employment, with up to 95 % of its graduates finding employment every year.
