The aim of the study program Marketing and Trade Management is to train professionals in a comprehensive and specialized field of trade and marketing, which are the basis for shifting the limits of theoretical and research perception of the discipline. Students know how to use scientific methods of the marketing research, market data, behaviour of consumers and business entities. They know methods of simulation and verification of marketing solutions, they can apply scientific practices in processes of optimal shaping marketing functions, marketing processes and marketing tools of business entities. Students can autonomously synthesize information/views of marketing surveys and propose solutions to problems that extend or redefine existing knowledge and present new approaches to tackling the new situation in trading systems. The graduate is able to:

  • successfully and effectively apply scientific research methods and to present his/her solutions/critical evaluation statements in the field of trade and marketing processes,
  • effectively connect research – formulation of the proposal – implementation, legal and ethical aspects of marketing,
  • to identify, evaluate and solve the problems of different levels of trade prediction throughout innovative approach.

Graduate profile

Graduates of the marketing and business management study program at the third level of study master the scientific methods of research in the field of management, marketing and business disciplines. They understand laws and phenomena related to the marketing environment and market data and the behavior of consumers and business and non-business entities. They can analyze, synthesize and verify managerial and marketing solutions and predict and model managerial decision-making based on managerial and marketing procedures with interdisciplinary overlap. They master the effective and precise application of scientific research methods and scientific knowledge in the processes of optimal formation of managerial, marketing and business functions, tools and processes. Graduates master the presentation of their own solutions and critical evaluation opinions in the field of business and marketing processes. At the same time, they master ways to isolate, evaluate and solve problems of different levels of prediction in management, marketing and business in a new way.
They are prepared experts in the complex and specialized field of business and marketing with an interdisciplinary overlap, which are the basis for pushing the limits of the theoretical and research understanding of the discipline on the platform of modern trends and with regard to its legal and ethical aspects. They will find application in the areas of research and development in management, marketing disciplines, specialized marketing and research workplaces and in the university environment. They will find employment in such job positions as researcher for industry and trade, manager in marketing research, manager of development and innovation, manager of the neuromarketing center and senior consultant for management and marketing.
