MGF is our answer to those who are well-aware of the importance of emerging markets in today’s world economy. Run by experienced international faculty, it will give you a deep understanding of global financial trends and analytical tools indispensable for making responsible and successful financial decisions in a global context. The program has been designed to prepare leading professionals in finance, banking and consulting.


Programme structure

The curriculum of the programme consists of mandatory and elective courses. The mandatory courses provide you strong grounding in microeconomics, finance, taxation, and controlling. Next, you will have an opportunity to specialise according to your preference choosing some of the electives. You can also choose from a selection of optional courses or to spend up to two semesters at one of our partner universities abroad.

Admission requirements

The programme is open to applicants with a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related disciplines.

Applicants who have not finished their bachelor’s studies by the date of admission must provide an official confirmation of their ongoing studies along with the expected date of graduation. They can be given a conditional offer with the final decision to be taken upon delivery of the proof of completed bachelor’s degree.

The selection is based on the review of submitted documents.

Talented students with excellent academic performance are eligible for EUBA’s motivation scholarship.

A number of external scholarships is also available. Please contact Slovak Academic Information Agency to find more.

Students from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine and the rest of the Visegrad countries can be considered for the Visegrad Scholarship.

Joint Degree

Ready for a challenge? Pursue the MGF as a joint degree programme in partnership with one of the leaders in business education in Southeast Asia – The National Institute of Development Administration in Bangkok, Thailand (ICO NIDA).

Students are required to spend the first semester of the second year at ICO NIDA. They pass their final exams and defend their thesis at the EUBA. Successful graduates are awarded MSc. diploma issued jointly by ICO NIDA and the EUBA.
